Shy Friend

Immersive Interactive Experience aiming to reconstruct the playfulness of childhood.  With a setting reminiscent of a pillow fort and an indoor swing hung in the middle, visitors could interact with an “imaginary friend” by twisting in the swing.  If the visitor stays still on the swing, the friendly dot will stay put in front of you.  However if they begin to move, the dot will run to behind the visitor’s back, starting a game of cat and mouse.  Technical components included Processing, HookOSC, Syphoner, Millumin, and two projectors outside of the space.
